Dr. Alex Cappai
She has special expertise in neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly ADHD, and she is employed in the NHS as a Consultant for the Barnet ADHD service.
She has accumulated extensive experience in multi-disciplinary teamwork and has successfully led and managed her teams, and her feedback demonstrates that she is well-liked by her patients and colleagues.
In the NHS, she has been actively involved in improving existing care pathways and creating new ones (including new care pathways for ADHD and ASD in the Surrey prisons).
She has led very successful Quality Improvement projects and has a special interest in Medical Research. She has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at several national and international conferences.
